<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Case report of congenital multiple secundum atrial septal defects in 30 years old patient is described. Multiple (double) atrial septal defects were diagnosed by transesophageal echocardiography. Transthoracic echocardiography failed to visualize defects because of inadequate acoustic window. The exact size of defects (more than 40 mm) and their localization (adjacent to aorta) were determined by three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. Surgical closure of atrial septal defects using autologous pericardium was done.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>эхокардиография</kwd><kwd>чреспищеводная эхокардиография</kwd><kwd>трехмерная эхокардиография</kwd><kwd>вторичный дефект межпредсердной перегородки</kwd><kwd>множественный дефект межпредсердной перегородки</kwd><kwd>пластика дефекта межпредсердной перегородки</kwd><kwd>echocardiography</kwd><kwd>transesophageal echocardiography</kwd><kwd>three-dimensional echocardiography</kwd><kwd>secundum atrial septal defect</kwd><kwd>multiple secundum atrial septal defects</kwd><kwd>surgical closure of atrial septal defects</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Мутафьян О.А.
